TV Sunday

As a college student I always find myself rushing to get homework and papers done that Sunday night before it is due. I use Fridays and Saturdays as my days to go out so not much attention is put into doing work. The bad thing about putting off work til that Sunday is that is when all the good stuff is on TV. For instance this week as I struggle to put the finishing touches on my paper I'm watching Lady Gaga sing with Elton John with dirt on their faces. On the other hand, the Pro Bowl is taking place on ESPN and I find myself in a classic debate of what to watch. While I should be doing homework.

I think procrastination is one of the number one problems with students, I know it is atleast to me. Yet I always find time to get it done, some how, some way.

Lady Gaga in my opinion is one weird girl. I don't mean weird as the stuff she says. Weird, in the way she goes to the nearest garbage can to pick out an outfit. I have to admit though she is a great performer. Heck, my mom even has her CD in the car.

Since the MTV music awards happened, I've always been more interested in these kinds of award shows. Well, more interested if Kanye West is there so we can have some classic moments again. But, as I'm watching the Grammy's right now he got what he wanted because, Beyonce "has the best song of all year."

When people accept awards I always think it's funny how music comes over the speakers as if to say "Shut up and get off our stage," when their speeches drag on too long.

I guess it's time for me to quit watching this crap and get work done.

Adios.
